1. Source of the data
Weather forecasts, historical averages and seasonal guidance are supplied by third-party meteorological providers. We display their data; we do not produce forecasts ourselves.
2. Accuracy
- Forecasts become less reliable the further ahead they go — treat anything beyond about 7 days as a rough guide.
- Seasonal averages describe a typical year, not the year you are travelling in.
- Data may be cached for up to a few hours, so it can lag behind the provider.
- Mountain, coastal and tropical microclimates can differ sharply from the nearest station.
3. Not for safety decisions
Never use Pinphy weather to decide whether to sail, dive, fly, hike, drive in snow, or stay put in a storm. Use the official meteorological agency and local warnings for that destination.
4. Severe weather
We do not provide official severe-weather warnings, cyclone tracking or evacuation notices, and we cannot guarantee you will see an alert in time. Follow local authorities.
5. Liability
We are not liable for decisions made using weather information in the app, including cancelled plans, damaged equipment or losses caused by conditions differing from the forecast.
