Content Removal Policy

• Content that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy or Community Guidelines.
• Your personal information published without consent, including your home, photo or contact details.
• Copyright or trademark infringement — see the Copyright Policy for the formal route.
• A listing of your business or venue that you do not want shown publicly.
• Content ordered removed by a court or regulator.

Email abuse@pinphy.app or use the in-app report button, and include:

• A link to the content.
• What is wrong with it, in a sentence or two.
• Why you are the right person to ask — for example, it is your photo, your business or your personal information.
• How we can contact you for follow-up.

A moderator reviews the request against our policies and the law of the relevant country. We weigh the harm of leaving content up against the value of keeping honest travel information available.

• Urgent safety issues: reviewed within 24 hours.
• Personal information and privacy requests: within 5 business days.
• Everything else: within 10 business days.

• Removed — the content is deleted or hidden from public view.
• Restricted — the content stays for existing trip members but is removed from public pages.
• Edited — identifying details are removed and the rest stays.
• Kept — we explain why, and point you to the policy we applied.

Either side can appeal within 30 days by replying to our decision email. A different reviewer handles the appeal, and their decision is final unless a court says otherwise.

Every removal, restriction and reinstatement is recorded in our internal audit log with the reviewer, the reason and the time.
